Pupdate on Rosie the trainee Guide Dog

Rosie, the trainee Guide Dog for the Blind that Alasdair Morrison & Partners is sponsoring is going to be a Calendar Girl! Rosie will be Miss July 2022 in next year's GDFTB calendar and we are very proud of her, says Sharon Larsen.

Rosie has now moved to advanced training in London and her new Trainer, Graham is very impressed with how quickly she has settled into her new routine. He is now teaching Rosie how to avoid solid obstacles, such as lamp posts and to recognise pavement blockages, such as roadworks. She is also learning how to slow down in  crowded areas and speed up when it is less busy. Given Rosie's excitable personality, Graham thinks Rosie will suit an owner who is a fast walker and who will enjoy staying active with her.

Rosie is also getting confident in navigating around the London Underground, getting used to noisy, fast trains and joining / leaving escalators too. Well done Rosie!

She is starting to near the end of her training now, so everyone at Alasdair Morrison & Partners wishes Rosie luck in getting to grips with her final training tasks!

Look out for another Pupdate soon when we will see which owner Rosie is matched to!
